clock down
Time waits for no clock
You play as an alarm clock counting down to zero - and when you hit zero, you're dead. The only way to survive is to steal time from other clocks, buying yourself precious seconds against an ever-tightening deadline.
Every clock on the field, you included is running out of time. There's no health bar in the traditional sense: your own countdown is your health, ticking away in real time whether you're fighting or not. Killing other clocks does not restore you to full - it just delays the inevitable, so the tension of the countdown never actually goes away ...
This is my submission for the 2026 GMTK Game Jam, themed "COUNT DOWN." It's my first time completing a game in a game jam :)
Hope you enjoy it
This game did not get submitted in the jam T__T
I did not know you had to press submit separately after uploading the game T__T

Sorry it didn't make it in the jam, for a first try though it's pretty solid. My main advice would just be that moving was a little off-putting for a second since the background is just black and there's not really any frame of reference until you find a wall or enemies.
Let's just pretend this is a GMTK Jam 2026 commentI survived for 224 seconds ! (Which is about a bit 3:50 something like that)
(Just so you know, i like to criticize games because i think that it only allows for better skillsets in the end)
I like how you used the theme in a way that i didn't really think of. I am a big fan of survivors and this game was really fun to try and Beat 'em all.
Unfortunately, it lacked controls explainations in game and i found myself lost for the first few seconds of my gameplay. I recommend you check the game The Binding of Isaac to see how they did it, I think it would really suit your game style. I know you added them in a comment under your game but you could also put them in the description of the game, a lot of people don't check comments before playing!
If i could make another recommendation, i would have added cursor, like on the edge of the range circle, showing the ennemies direction. I found myself getting attack from a clock that never appeared on my screen.
Overall the game is a really fun little survivor and i really enjoyed it :D
